Day 2: I dont know how to title this post...

I feel like this day lasted for a week.  Gulsen, aka my tour guide, took me bye foot, mini bus, boat and train to the European side of Istanbul.  If you are lucky you can get somewhere with one mode of transportation.  I visited the Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Taksim Square and Galata Tower. None of this was planned.  It just happened!

  1. Yikes, whatta day! But what a wonderful into to the city and some of what it has to offer. It will be worth going back to each of these places, maybe with folks who will visit you (oh, folks like us), for a longer, more leisurely look. It's all good, and I love your photos!
