Are we there yet?

Alright... I made it!  The flight was long, but not too long.  Jill, the lady who sat next to me was good company.  We talked a about ourselves and our adventures to come.  Angela, the woman behind me, spoke up and told me about her time in Turkey as a teacher - what a small world.  Off the plane I walked straight to the visa counter, paid 20 TL, no questions asked, then proceeded to customs.  "Move right", in unfamiliar English, and again no questions asked.  Through the exit doors to a crowd of greeting cruise line workers calling me over as if I was with them.  I blew them off and waited to see my name printed on a piece of paper.  I waited for Gulsen, a FINAL teacher, for a half hour (the plane landed early), only to shrug her off, assuming she was another cruise liner worker - until she was holding a sign marked "ROBERT NORD." BAM!  Off to the races.
